    Rats with wings, my friend. Rats. with. wings. It never fails that someone starts to feed them and they gather over my head and "let loose". They do photograph well, though!

    The lighting in Galveston is magical (have you seen the beach pictures at sunshineandlemonade.blogspot.com??). What a wonderful place to vacation. Love your bird photo :)

    I've seen them hover like that if they think there is food around...LOL
