I'm so excited to finally have this finished. The kids clapped when I hung it up.
The bottom poster (BC) has "Creation" at the beginning, and 2400 at the first turn. I figured this way we'd have a "dateless" line. The increments are 400 years.
The top poster (AD) is divided into 300 year increments. I did stop at 2020 so the top line is only 220 years.
I used Address Labels for the dates and info. I'm really excited and I can't wait to start filling it up!! :)

Thank You! I don't know if you can tell by the pic, but that's actually behind a door. The space is just big enough to open the door. :)
ReplyDeleteOh! No I didn’t notice! Very creative. When we used Konos they had these timelines I bought and they would go down an entire hallway! I just couldn’t do it... sadly... I always thought seeing it every day would make the kids more curious and make connections more... you know... looking at it when they walked by... or something like that...
ReplyDeleteHave fun! I cant wait to see it in a year!
That is fabulous! Where did you get your pattern?

I got the idea from this
ReplyDeleteat Paula's Archives. I used a formula can lid for my curves, it gave the look and size that I wanted. I don't even know what the measurements are. I just winged it. :) Does that help any? :)
A formula can lid, that is so cool! Thanks for that!
